Exterior Wash, Clay, and Seal
If your paint still feels gritty after a wash, this is the service you want. I hand wash the whole vehicle, then clay bar it to pull out the bonded stuff that soap won't touch — brake dust, industrial fallout, tree sap, road tar. After that I seal the paint so it stays slick and protected for about six months.
Here's what I do:
• Foam pre-soak, then a proper two-bucket hand wash
• Wheels, tires, and wheel wells
• Bug and tar removal
• Full clay bar decontamination
• Paint sealant applied by machine
• Tire dressing and exterior glass
Plan on 2–3 hours. This is also the right first step if you're thinking about a ceramic coating down the road — the paint has to be clean before anything goes on top of it.
Once you book, I'll reach out by text to lock in your time. If your vehicle needs something extra, I'd rather talk it through beforehand than surprise you with it.

Soap doesn't touch bonded contamination. Brake dust, industrial fallout, tree sap, road tar — it embeds in the clear coat and stays there. That's what the clay bar is for.
I start with a thick foam pre-soak. The point isn't the foam itself, it's that it lifts and lubricates the dirt so it lets go before anything touches your paint. Most swirl marks come from dragging grit around, so this step matters more than it looks.
Then a two-bucket hand wash with grit guards in both. One bucket for clean soap, one for rinsing the mitt. It's slower, and it's the only way I'm willing to wash a dark car.
Clay bar comes next with plenty of lubricant. This is the part you'll feel afterward — run your hand over the hood and it'll be glass smooth instead of gritty. That's contamination that was sitting in your paint that isn't anymore.
Finally the sealant, applied by machine. Six months of protection, real gloss, and water that beads and rolls off instead of sitting on your paint. That layer takes the abuse so your clear coat doesn't.
